On behalf of the London Taxi Drivers’ Charity for Children, Committee, London Taxi Drivers who support our efforts, together with parents, carers, and the children, we are deeply saddened to hear that Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, has passed and no longer among us.

Prince Philip and other Royal Family members continued to be incredible supporters of the charity and the wider London Taxi industry.

Having met The Duke of Edinburgh on various occasions with my colleagues, his sense of humour and interaction with the children, even during his later years, was fantastic.

His support to the young generation has been a great source of encouragement and inspired many of us within the voluntary sectors.

I am sending most sincere condolences and prayers to Her Majesty the Queen and all the Royal family.
